Camden, Ark. - Supplier Quality Assurance Requirements

For Purchase Orders issued prior to February 1, 2009, the Aerojet East quality provisions are found in the applicable form listed as A-24 noted below. For Purchase Orders issued after February 1, 2009 the quality assurance terms and conditions will be accessed through the "Aerojet Quality Notes" link below. These provisions/terms and conditions define the parameters of the inspection and certification requirements required as part of any request for cost information and any resulting purchase order. The respective purchase order or request for cost information sent to you will define which revision (by date) you should utilize in the performance of your efforts. Should you encounter questions regarding the use or submission of data relative to this document, please contact the buyer as noted in purchase order or request for cost information. Unless otherwise noted, the latest dated revision should be used for the submission of documentation.

Aerojet Quality Notes

When a quality assurance specification is defined in a purchase order, the supplier's quality assurance system must meet the requirements of that specification. The level of the quality or inspection system required will depend upon the type of hardware being procured. Approval of the supplier's quality system may be obtained through an on-site survey of the supplier's plant by an Aerojet Quality Assurance Representative, through evaluation of the supplier's quality assurance procedure or through evidence of acceptability of the supplier's quality or inspection system to other industry prime contractors.
