Aerojet Successfully Demonstrates THAAD Motor

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 23, 2005 -- Aerojet, a GenCorp Inc. (NYSE: GY) company, successfully demonstrated its boost motor capabilities for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile Tuesday in a developmental flight test at White Sands Missile Range, N.M.

The THAAD missile flight test evaluated the missile and did not include a target. The Aerojet boost motor powered the THAAD missile, and all preliminary data indicate test objectives were achieved.
