Aerojet Names Craig Halterman Vice President and Chief Information Officer
SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 8, 2009 – Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, announced today that Craig Halterman has joined the company as vice president and chief information officer. He reports to Scott Neish, president of Aerojet and interim chief executive officer of GenCorp.
Mr. Halterman is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in Information Technology. Most recently he served as chief information officer and senior vice president of Axcelis Technologies, the Beverly, Massachusetts-based manufacturer of ion implementation devices. Axcelis is a spinoff from Eaton Corporation’s Semiconductor Equipment division. Prior to that, he was with Honeywell/Allied Signal Aerospace, Dow Chemical Company and Thomson Consumer Electronics.
Mr. Halterman received an MBA from the University of Indianapolis and a BS in Computer Information Systems from Indiana Central University.
