Aerojet Names Glenn Mahone Executive Director of Strategic Communications
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, announced today that Glenn Mahone is joining Aerojet as its executive director of Strategic Communications. He will be located at Aerojet in Washington, D.C., reporting to John Schumacher, vice president Washington office.
Mr. Mahone's 30-year aerospace communications leadership encompasses a broad range of private sector, federal and state government media positions. He led the transformation of NASA's communications efforts during two Administrations -- significantly expanding NASA's presence in the multimedia and Internet marketplaces. An experienced media journalist, Mr. Mahone also led various media and marketing segments in the private sector. He most recently served as vice president for defense contractor Systems Application and Technologies, Inc. where he directed business development and marketing.
